Alô Brasil
CD Packaging
Rightfully hailed as a "tornado of rhythm and sound" by Philadelphia City Paper, Alô Brasil is the collaboration of twelve talented musicians with a love for Brasilian music, and a local favorite of mine. They asked me to design the CD packaging for their first major release called "Abre a Janela," meaning "Open the Window." For the cover, I combined an image of a flying bird with an image of their dancers to give a sense of movement and freedom. This feeling is carried throughout the packaging in various photographic combinations of music, movement and the outdoors.
